I attended the 2nd China-India-Thailand Workshop on High Energy Astrophysics, held at Asia Hotel Bangkok from October 14 to 16, 2026. The three-day meeting brought researchers together to discuss a broad range of high-energy topics, including X-ray binaries, black holes, active galactic nuclei, cosmic rays, and transient sources.

I had the chance to present my current work on CHIPS1911+4455, using Chandra observations to study its X-ray cool core in a disturbed cluster environment. It was a good opportunity to share the project with the community and hear ideas from researchers working on related problems.

I also brought my undergraduate and master’s students to attend the workshop. I was glad that they could listen to the talks, meet researchers in the field, and see how a scientific workshop works beyond the classroom.

More information is available on the workshop website and the participant information page.
